The Serpentshrine Cavern is a 25-Man raid which is introduced into Classic TBC with the first content patch of the expansion, Phase 2. Here, players will have to face 6 new bosses, with the final Boss, Lady Vashj, being quite that challenge back in the day.
The Serpentshrine Cavern (SSC) is located inside the Coilfang Reservoir in Zangarmarsh and is the longer one of the two new raids. For some bosses here, it is recommended to have a tank with Nature Resistance and one with Frost Resistance gear.
SSC Attunement TBC
The Attunement for Serpentshrine Cavern (SSC) is not as long as The Eye Attunement and should be quicker to complete. All you need to do is enter the Slave Pens Heroic and complete one quest there. Here’s what you need to do:
- Find Skar’this the Heretic in the Slave Pens Heroic. He is being held captive in a cage after the first boss, Mennu the Betrayer.
- Skar’this will give you a quest called The Cugel of Kar’desh. This quest requires you to loot the Earthen Signet from Gruul the Dragonkiller and the Blazing Signet from Nightbane.
- Once you have completed Gruul’s Lair and Karazhan and looted the two Signets, return the Skar’this in Slave Pens Heroic and your Attunement is complete!
