Upon first entering Shattrath City, the player is given a choice between two of the factions of TBC Classic: Aldor or Scyer. You can only ever have one of these factions be friendly to you, so you should choose wisely!
Sha’tar Reputation Guide to Exalted rep
The Sha’tar are one of the reputation factions of Shattrath City. The Naaru belong to this faction, as well as the inner-City guards etc. As the Sha’tar are part of the Shattrath group of Factions, there are some not-so well-known ways to get them to exalted quickly.
Lower City Exalted Reputation Guide
The Lower City Reputation Faction being situated in Shattrath, has much to offer to Players. Apart from the Auchenai Key, which grants access to the Heroic versions of the four Auchindoun Dungeons, there are quite a few cool items available! Learn how to reach exalted quickly here.
Sha’tari Skyguard Reputation Guide
Of course, we all know why the Sha’tari Skyguard Faction is so popular. One of the few Reputation Rewards upon reaching exalted with them is the Nether Ray Flying Mount. These mounts cost 200 gold once you reach exalted and there are quite a few different variants.
Consortium Reputation Guide

Keepers of Time Reputation Guide
The Keepers of Time are one of the most straight forward factions of TBC. The only way to gain reputation with them is to run the two Dungeons in the Caverns of Time in Tanaris, either on Normal or Heroic mode. Apart from that, there is one questline, which leads you through these dungeons and gives quite a lot of reputation.
Netherwing Reputation Guide
The Netherwings are one of the few factions in TBC that requires a flying mount to access. With good reason though: Once you reach exalted reputation with them, you get you very own Netherwing Drake Mount! Apart from the cool mount, there is no real reason to farm this reputation faction.
Kurenai & Mag’har Reputation Guide
The Kurenai and Mag’har are two sides of the same coin. The Kurenai are only availabel to the Alliance, while the Mag’har is the Horde aligned Faction. Both of them have the same Reputation rewards and mostly the same process to get them to Exalted, which is why I combined them both here.
Sporeggar Reputation Guide
Sporeggar is one of those Faction that doesn’t give you much in the way of rewards. It’s more of a collecting thing. There are a couple of Cooking Recipes at Neutral, which everyone should reach by just Questing through Zangarmarsh. Other than that, there is of course the Tiny Sporeling pet at Exalted. It’s very cute.
