What World of Warcraft and Diablo 4 have in common

Since Diablo 4 Early Access launched just now, we thought it would be nice to give you some reasons to check it out. WoW and D4 have a lot in common, which might be why you could enjoy playing it.

Diablo 4 is a lot like an MMO

While Diablo 4 isn’t officially an MMO, it was designed to feel a lot like it. As some of you might already know, Diablo makes use of a concept called “Shared World”. This means that you have the possibility to meet other players in the open part of the world, while still keeping to yourself during missions and in dungeons. This gives you a slight feeling of an MMO-type game.

Additionally, for some world bosses it is key to play with combined strengths, grouping up and taking them by the horns together.

This is somewhat controversial, since some players fear that the dark dystopian feeling is destroyed by full servers. However, Blizzard thought of that and made occurrences “rare”, so that you don’t have to fear running across other players all the time.

Blizzard Quality Gameplay

The biggest common ground of both games is, you guessed it, the publisher. Both games are published by Blizzard, which ensures the quality gameplay we are used to.

Quick reactions to players feedback, innovative changes to gameplay, hotfixes and changes as well as regular seasons are things we can expect in the future.

Blizzard already announced big extensions to the game like Reaper of Souls and Lord of Destruction for Diablo 3.
